Fermentation is one of the oldest methods of food preservation and accounts for over one-third of the food we eat today. Interest in the process and the health benefits of eating fermented foods has grown in recent years. Join us for this 3-hour fermentation class and learn how easy it is to make your own delicious sauerkraut, kimchi, and dill pickles. We’ll also discuss the popular drink, kombucha, and will teach you how to start and maintain a continuous brew of this healthy drink. Finally, we will teach you how to make yogurt, another fermented food, and yogurt cheese, which is similar to sour cream with a texture of a soft cream cheese. You won’t want to miss this inspiring class.
