How to Grow More, Work Less, and Reduce Your Environmental Impact. Six-week course.

A productive vegetable garden can provide delicious produce year-round, without being a full-time job! Learn how to get the most vegetables by applying science-based gardening methods that minimize environmental impacts. Classes cover working with different soil types; providing the right amount of water, fertilizer, and sun; taking care of seeds and seedlings; managing pests, diseases and weeds; and advice on growing specific vegetables and on container gardening.

The dates are 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/5, 3/12 (no class on 2/19). 
 
Time: 7 to 9pm
 
Cost: $75.
