I have a pest control question. We found termites in the wood shakes and plywood backing along the front facade of our home. All the ifested materials have been replaced with termite resistent materials but now I need to make sure that termites will not attack the wood frame of our home. Do you have any advice regarding products (or chemical components) that are effective but non-damaging to humans or the environment? Can I avoid treating the interior of my garage/home and still eliminate further damage? Can you give me a list of chemicals that I should avoid? Thank you

Whole Foods recently sold me Santolina ch. Lavender as "culinary lavender". But I have my doubts that this plant can be used in cooking like teas, etc. Please let me know if it can be eaten. Thanks
