Andrea 35 years of professional experience in the out of school education field including more than 20 years as an art and science museum educator, program developer and fundraiser for organizations in Colorado, California and West Virginia. She has taught standards-based science and art workshops for tens of thousands of students; has conducted professional development programs for thousands of teachers; has worked with and managed hundreds of youth volunteers through mentoring initiatives; and has secured significant funding from corporations, foundations, and public agencies for multi-million dollar programmatic and capital projects. In her role as Director of Advancement, she oversees an array of development policy issues, endowment development and stewardship and manages capital fundraising planning and implementation. She holds a B.A. in Studio Art and Art Education from Colorado State University and a M.A. in Art History from the University of Oregon.
