A long time resident of the Sierra foothills, Katie is passionate about developing an integrated approach to fighting chronic disease and improving nutrition in the region. She received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from Wellesley College in Massachusetts, and went on to receive her Masters of Public Health from UC Berkeley with a concentration in Public Health Nutrition.
