This week UC Agriculture and Natural Resources units, currently spread all over Davis, are moving to one new location at 2801 Second Street, Davis, CA 95618. ANR personnel located in the DANR building out on Hopkins Road, the units at the Agricultural Field Station building, including the REC Administrative Program Office, Communications and Information Technology in South Davis, and Integrated Pest Management in Robbins Hall Annex and on West Campus will finally be under one roof! The new home for UC ANR is in a repurposed building, once a roller skating rink, with modern furniture and state-of-the-art technology.
Keys to the building were formally handed over on Friday, November 1, in a ceremony featuring a ribbon-cutting by UC ANR Vice-President Allen-Diaz, Secretary of California Department of Agriculture Karen Ross, and Davis Mayor Joe Krovoza. Local elected officials were in attendance and all were able to tour the building.
