While you are at it, I would also appreciate a confirmation of my registration and a copy of my scheduled sessions. Thank you!

Hi Cindy, You should receive a confirmation of registration and a copy when you register. If you need an additional copy please contact ANR Program support at ANRProgramSupport@UCANR.edu.

Just FYI, I just reserved one of the last rooms available at the lodge and it's only March 13th!

Hi Patti - Thanks for registering for the conference, we are excited to see you there! The Tenaya Lodge has been booking rooms quickly but there are still rooms available for guests for the conference Mon. 10/06 through Thurs. 10/18. Best, Melissa

I was really frustrated trying to get a room at the conference rate. Our literature says we will have the entire lodge, I guess that does not include the cottages since I spoke to two different agents who couldn't find a room at the conference rate, but could offer me a cottage for $268 per night. Fortunately, I called a third time and got a young man who found me a room for the conference rate. It seems unprofessional to get different answers from different staff members at the same facility. I am not very trusting of these reservations, so I will continue to check that my room is confirmed.

Hi Tina,
I'm sorry for your frustration and do appreciate your persistence. We are in contact with the Tenaya Lodge and as of Friday evening, they still have rooms for each night. Our room block is for the entire main hotel but currently not for the cottages (cottages are not part of the main hotel and have been reserved by another group). We'll make sure to post an announcement if/when the Tenaya is completely booked and have some alternative recommendations.
I am sorry to hear about the mixed messages from the Tenaya - they've had to bring in some temporary staff to their reservations call center. Again, I appreciate your persistence with them and we'll be sure to post an announcement if/when the entire Tenaya Lodge is booked.
Many thanks,
Missy

I understand, but without some alternative it is difficult to know whether I should pay my registration fee. Is there still opportunity to add my husband as a registrant?
Please advise.

Hi Winona, Thanks for leaving feedback about your concerns with registering for the conference. We are working on securing additional lodging for the conference. As soon as the information becomes available we will publish it on the statewide blog. We are also sharing the information with coordinators to communicate with volunteers. I would not wait on registering for the conference to ensure you are able to take the courses you would like to attend. Your husband is welcome to register if he is a Master Gardener. If not, you can add him as a guest on your registration. If you would like to discuss further feel free to call my direct line at 530.750.1388 or email me mgwomack@ucanr.edu.
Best,
Melissa

There is information posted to the Narrow Gauge Inn (599)683-7720 which says that they are all sold out, however, I called them and was able to reserve a nice room. So if you couldn't get in here at the Tenaya, call the Narrow Gauge Inn. In fact, Lieta didn't know what I was talking about and said they had plenty of room available. Give it a try and good luck.

I would like to have a copy of my classes, too.
The Narrows is only 2 1/2 miles from the Tenaya.
Bye

I am registered for the Gardens of Central Valley tour and need to drive myself there early Tuesday morning instead of going down from the conference site. Where do I go first and what time should I arrive? Will there be a map to the lunch site?
Thanks
