I've never seen onion honey marketed.... is it done?

According to Extension apiculturist Eric Mussen: "Although the only really attractive reward from an onion flower is  
its nectar, there is so little of it that the pollinating bees do not make honey from it. If honey is produced while the bees are on onions, it is from another source."
