Porter Creek Nature Trail is truly a unique and valuable feature of SFREC. Being located directly adjacent to Headquarters makes it easily accessible. The photos shown do highlight some of its visual charms.

But the author is remiss in not giving due credit to the Nature Trail's creator, Doug McCreary. This is an unfortunate slight that should be immediately corrected.

It is good to see this post back again. As well as my comment.
The matter of posting comments to SFREC NEWS seems to be an ongoing issue. Just this morning I sent an email to SFREC Director Jeremy James about whether something can be done to clarify "the rules" of submission, adjudication, and approval.
ANR takes pride in being both "transparent" and "accountable". Certainly, there are limits to what kinds of specific comments exceed conventional standards of acceptability.
But comments and "feedback" are indeed asked for by ANR. It's just a matter of seeing to it that the system works.
