Limiting the posting of viewer questions for this event to those who happen to have a Google Hangout account seems unnecessarily exclusionary.
It appears that the process of access requires being able to log in ("sign in") with either Disqus, Facebook, Twitter, or Google. For this particular "Hangout", registration is limited to Google.
Can President Napolitano explain the logic supporting this restriction?
Causes one to wonder: Who really runs UC?
President Napolitano and the Board of Regents?
Or Google Corporation?

Charlie, I checked with UCOP. Currently the only way to submit questions for the Google Hangout is to be signed into a Google account. If a lot of people have issues with using Google, UCOP may consider a different communications tool in the future.
