We are getting reports that our contact list is not up to date. The only way we know at the office, is if YOU let us know. Please send any updates to Diego. Thank you!
Livestock Judging Clinic
We will be holding our annual Livestock Judging Clinic on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at the SRJC Farm from 9 to 12 pm. This is an excellent opportunity for new and returning members to help improve your judging skills for use in a contest or selection of your fair animals. There will be an opportunity to view a class of Sheep, Meat Goats, Beef and Swine and find out what to look for when you judge a class or choose an animal for a project. In addition, we will have an Expert to help you understand Oral Reasons and note taking and show you ways to improve your process for contests. A food booth will be available for morning goodies. If you have any questions, please contact Diana Stornetta at 823-7516.
Presentation Day is just around the corner.
Applications (attached) must be postmarked by January 28, 2015. Also available on the County Website
CQ
We would like everyone to mark their calendars for the 54th Annual 4-H Chickenque on May 3, 2015. Our hope this year is to create an Open House environment, inviting the public to share in our knowledge and encourage them to join our amazing program. We would love to hear your ideas about outreach.
*The first Chickenque Rep meeting is January 22, 7pm at the 4-H Center. Each club is expected to send a rep to these monthly meetings.
We will share new information and each club will receive a folder of flyers. Happy New Year and we'll see you soon.
