We would like everyone to mark their calendars for the 54th Annual 4-H Chickenque on May 3, 2015. Our hope this year is to create an Open House environment, inviting the public to share in our knowledge and encourage them to join our amazing program. We would love to hear your ideas about outreach. The next Chickenque Rep meeting is February 26th, 7pm at the 4-H Center. Each club is expected to send a rep to these monthly meetings. We will share new information and each club will receive a folder of flyers.
Congratulations to Reilly Ballenger from Lytton Springs 4-H!
She won the ChickenQue T-Shirt drawing contest!
Thank you to all the youth that participated, great drawings and creativity.
Order form attached. Order is due by March 26th. Order soon, because we only order a limited amount and when they are gone, they're gone!

DAIRY DAY
Do you have Primary age youth in your club (5-8)? Sign up for a fun Saturday morning, learning about milk, from the Dairy to your Door. March 7th, 9:30-11:30, here at the 4-H office. Call Diego at the office 565-2681. It is filling fast.
It's that time of year again to start thinking about market animal projects for the Healdsburg or Sonoma County Fair. Community First Credit Union is offering Zero Interest AG loans to 4-Hers who are raising market animals, from market chickens & rabbits to hogs, lambs, and goats. This is a great opportunity to learn about money and give kids a chance to pay for their own project! They will learn how to create a budget, balance their checking account, learn how to use online banking, and best of all earn a credit score before they turn 18! To find out more please email Rebecca at rystrom@comfirstcu.org or call at 543-2654. If you would like Rebecca to come out to your club meeting or project meeting to talk about Zero Interest AG loans please email with date, time, and location of the meeting. Look forward to seeing everyone!
