It is with great sadness that I received the news this past week, of the passing of one of our club leaders, Dawn Peavler, from Westside 4-H club. Dawn faithfully served our community for many years through education and agriculture programs. To honor her memory and show support for her family, donations can be made to the Dawn Peavler Trust Fund at any Exchange Bank.
Leaders, please take note: Applications for “All Star” and “Rising Star” will be out soon.

“Dairy Days” aka Farm Academy, still has room for youth ages 5-8. It will be held at the 4-H office in Santa Rosa on Saturday March 7 from 9:30-11:30. Please call Diego to sign up 565-2681. No cost.
There will be hands-on activities and if we can get the video conference working, we will have that as well! Youth will have an opportunity to sample some dairy cow and goat products, experience dairy art activities, and learn how milk gets from the animal to the store.
Does anyone have Dairy Display Boards or cow props (live or not ) or any other items that I could borrow for the day?
Thank you,
Judy Ludovise 565-3443
Dear 4-H'ers,
We need volunteers for our upcoming "Celebrate the Center" 4-H Foundation Pancake Breakfast March 28th. We need all ages from either 8am-9:30am or 9:30am-11am. Even if you can only come for part of the morning or to just come and help clean at the end we would love your help. It is great community service for your record book and you get a free breakfast! Bring your family and friends to support the 4H Center for only $5/person! We are requesting each 4H member wear their whites and bring a smile! Please RSVP to Mikela at mikela@4hfoundationofsoco.org if you are able to volunteer or if you need tickets!
*** New this year is the pancake eating contest! We will have three heats for 3 different age groups starting at 9am.
