The Still Exhibits program offered by both Placer County Fair and Gold Country Fair is a wonderful opportunity for youth in the community to highlight their work on various Still Exhibits. Placer County 4-H is excited to partner with both fairs to assist youth in doing their best and creating exhibits that are high quality for Still Exhibits Judging during each fair. There will be two workshops offered this upcoming spring and summer to all those interested in being a junior still exhibitor and their family. The trainings will be held on:
Saturday, May 23, 2015, 9am - 11am
Placer County Fairgrounds, Lauppe Hall
Saturday, August 1, 2015, 9am - 11am
Gold Country Fairgrounds, Tahoe Bldg
Some of the highlights of the training include, but are not limited to:
● Cathy Bianchi, baked goods judge, will be helping us to produce award winning baked goods entries.
● Earlene Eisley-Freeman will share with us tips on making and entering winning food preservation. (only August 1 workshop)
● There will be an opportunity to learn and complete the necessary exhibit applications.
