A new landscape irrigation worksheet for homeowners was recently developed by Dr. Loren Oki, CE Specialist, Landscape Horticulture with UC ANR and UC Davis.
The worksheet is designed to calculate an irrigation schedule for a landscape zone for one calendar year.
The new spreadsheet creates an annual irrigation schedule based on a catch can assessment, landscape coefficient, ET zone, soil type and other parameters.
It is posted and available on The California Garden Web, under Drought: Irrigation Tips.

It's good to be careful with irrigation water. If you have a schedule and plan you can make the water more effective. I think this is something that everyone should do with their home irrigation, because it's good to conserve water. http://www.newenglandtreeandlandscape.com
