I will be at State Leadership Conference from Wednesday-Monday. New this year: each county is required to send an adult RA (Resident Assistant). I am taking on this position this year so I can better promote it for a volunteer next year.

We are very excited to have all of our new stars on board! Welcome!
If you have not done so yet, please send your club information to Diego this week. We are updating our contact list. Even if you are not changing leaders, meeting place/time, send him an email so he can check you off the list.
Many of you have heard that the State published new uniform guidelines. I have attached them this week. Even though they are beginning to implement them this year, the state fully expects the transition, particularly with the white hat, to take several years. We will discuss new guidelines at the leader's training on August 22.
Record-Book Cover Sheet…so sorry but last week I attached the old record book cover form. The updated one is on our website and attached to this weeks' blog.
AUGUST TURN IN DATE….August 22 at leader training is the LAST day to turn in all officer's books, club award forms, pin order forms, program planning guide and record books. If you are a new leader (or returning leader) and are confused about this, please give me a call next week. Information in the Treasurer's book is submitted to the IRS, so that 4-H can continue with it's tax-exempt status.
We are having the PMC's Fall Carnival on Sunday, October 18th, 2015. There will about 150-200 people, children's ages are 0-5 years old. You have had volunteers in the past, and the families rave about the experience. I would love it if we could set up a "petting zoo" experience for the kids. Please let me know what else I can do to get this in motion. Thank you for your time and I look forward to getting connected with your members.
