The University of California has revised three policies as follows:
- Technical revisions to the Child Abuse and Neglect (CANRA) were issued on 03/17/15. The term “sexual exploitation” was defined within the statute. This definition was authorized per AB 1775, which took effect January 1, 2015. http://policy.ucop.edu/doc/4000603/CANRA
- A revised Whistleblower Protection Policy with issued on 04/23/15 letter. Extensive revisions were made to ensure that complaints alleging whistleblower retaliation can be processed more expeditiously, improve administration of complaint process, and increase transparency.http://policy.ucop.edu/doc/1100563/WhistleblowerProtection
- Revised on June 17, 2015, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence policy was updated on an Interim basis effective until December 31, 2015. The interim issuance brings the policy into compliance with federal and state regulations, while the Policy undergoes full review and vetting.
