My large passionflower vine has been totally skeletonized this year and the butterflies and caterpillars are still coming. Is there anything that I can do to revive the vine without harming the caterpillars?

They have been in my yard four or five years, using Passiflora caerulea and Passiflora 'incense' as hosts. I have grown Passiflora caerulea in my yard for at least twenty. I was shocked and very happy when Gulf Fritillaries showed up here! Now if I could only get Pipevine Swallowtails to find my Aristolochia.

Cris, Re reviving the vine, we fertilize and water ours and get new growth. Oftentimes we will go out and buy more Passiflora when the current vines are skeletonized.
