I had the privilege of participating in a presentation on January 15, 2016, the subject matter was Hypertufa (artificial stone). After the presentation and on my way to the car a fellow MG approached me to ask if I could give her an idea of what the expense would be on purchasing the basic elements to produce hypertufa objects. Unfortunately, I did not have an answer for her at the time as I had not purchased any of the supplies I used to create my planter, but was graciously allowed to use another Master Gardener's product as she is an avid crafter with Hypertufa and therefore she would purchase her supplies in bulk. I have now looked around, locally into the cost of getting started, and below are my findings on prices, packaging size of products and where I found them. I hope the readers will find this helpful, for those of you who would like to get started but do not want to commit to large purchases until you are sure this is something you will continue to craft again and again.
