Thank you to all the Chickenque reps that attended our first meeting in January. We appreciate your time, questions and thoughts. We will bring that meetings conversation to the committee and have responses for you in February. Please help us in congratulating Michael Sittenauer from Sequoia 4-H. He was this years drawing contest winner. We had 13 participants and the drawings were thoughtful and great.
The next CQ Rep meeting is February 25, 7pm at the 4-H Center. We will have your club tickets and open up the floor for more questions and thoughts.

--Chick feeders (2)
--Sack of chicken feed (1, partially full)

All items can be picked up at my residence near Occidental, 15195 Bittner Road. I can provide clear directions on how to get here. The person who picks up the donated items would need to bring along some kind of cage for the chickens.

A healthy, handsome rooster strayed into our north Petaluma mobile home park some months ago. People have tried to net him unsuccessfully to transport him to a local farmer, who is willing to take him. Now we want to try again and are thinking we could lace his feed with whiskey and put him in a carrier cage to transport him?
But we have no carrier that would work for him. Someone suggested contacting 4H to get advice and possibly the loan of a carrier. We already tried the animalrescue people - - one of the failed attempts.
First, is the whiskey-infused feed a good idea? Second, do you know someone, or how we might find someone, to rent or loan us a good cage? Third, do you know how we can find him a good home, in case our current contact doesn't work out? thanks for your help,
