AgFest will be this week at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds, starting on Monday, June 13th and ending with a livestock auction on Saturday, June 18th.
Over 900 4-H, FFA, and independent youth exhibitors will be showing 1,200 animals, ranging from dairy cattle to market lambs to breeding chickens. There will also be vocational exhibits of ag mechanics, entomology, horticulture, and much more.
In addition to the exhibits there will be fun events such as the costume contest (for both the youth and their animals!), hay-bucking, a livestock knowledge bowl, and a Farm to Fork dinner on Thursday evening.
