My small backyard, with it's little 10x15 square of faux lawn, gravel everywhere else, is turning surprisingly green. It's my first summer in Arizona. I'm so glad I've planted lilacs, wisteria, a chitalpa tree, and a tri-level container garden for the pollinators! The veggie garden added to all that, and my little hidden space makes me smile in the mornings when I go outside for that early cup of coffee...and at night when I go out to my chaise lounge to look up at the amazing display of the universe of starlight!

I would recommend contacting your local Master Gardeners. Here is the link: https://extension.arizona.edu/master-gardener
