Have these newer generation BDM(Organix?) been trialed in climates and latitudes like Southern California?
Older generations have been have not maintained their integrity long enough, or broke down too slowly or clung to the produce grown.

One of the plastics we are trialing is indeed Organix, and I am not sure about SoCal but one trial has taken place I believe in Texas. There's a lot to learn here Tom, and I think regional differences based on climate are going to be an angle of the work for sure.

Thing is too that having this work become more public attracts attention from others working on the same thing. For example, just had a phone exchange with a student at UCSC developing a biodegradable plastic with a team of twelve. Man, these kids are SMART, and have a lot of potential for success.
