What's new with the Web Action Team

If you've stopped to take a look at the ANR Blog stats lately you may have noticed quite a few changes over the past few weeks. The first change is the graph. We are now using Google's Charting tool to draw charts that are much better to look at than the previous charts.

Another part of the recent changes include the addition of date fields. This allows the entry of start and end date so that the stats between those dates can be retrieved easily.

One of the more difficult updates was to have an "All Blogs" stats view. This shows a summary of all the stats for each Blog. One may drill down into each Blog and view each Blogs stats if they like. The major goal of this is the ability to have a general overview of all the traffic to the Blog system as a whole.

To view stats for all the ANR Blogs click on the new button "All Blogs".

Allowing stats by time period will help a great deal with reporting. However, I am having some difficulty using this function. Using our CA poison control system post as an example: stats for life of post 630/2/834; the year 615/2/681; 3 months 350/2/359; time period 10/1/11-12/31/11 630/2/834 (same as stats for life of post).

Also will we be able to export the data to Excel or Access for easy sorting?

The ability to download stats to Excel will be available some time in the near future. For now you can view the stats in IE highlight the table then right click on "Export to Microsoft Excel".

When using the date range the stats now show the correct totals.

Is there a way to tell how many people have subscribed to your blog?

Hi Chelsey, on the dashboard for the blog, under the setting "Other - Subscriptions" you can see how many users are set to receiving notification of new articles.
