What a powerful way to connect to the food we eat in an intimate way. Have never heard of this before but I would definitely like to try it. I would love to know the experiences of those who do this on a regular basis. I believe that it would change the way we eat!

A very inspired commentary on mindfulness! I love the concept. It reminds me of a piece I watched where all the guests to a restaurant ate in THE DARK. They all said it was such a profound experience!

Your description of the hexagonal features, conical shape. It sounds like you had a wonderful experience. Now, will I be brave enough to follow your lead and try the experiment...Hmmmmm.

I've never been a big fan of strawberries, unless they've been beautifully and deliciously coated with chocolate by my daughter. Though I love their sweet, spicy flavor, it takes just a bit of sourness to ruin the experience. But I'm sure, from now on, strawberries, and everything else for that matter, will taste much better. Thanks for awakening my real taste buds, my friend!
