UCCE Centennial: 100 Years of Science and Service
"Because his work depends so much for its results on the enthusiasm he can infuse into others, a farm advisor must be a man of tact, of energy, and of real desire to achieve results…."B.H. Crocheron in July 1915 Director’s Report

What I love most about working for UC ANR is the immense opportunity for educational and skill growth as an employee and person. We are so lucky to be able to have so many reputable avenues to improve our knowledge and skill base, from hands-on learning with local farmers, to in-depth research from our very own researchers, to statewide conferences, and everything in between. Aside from that, I love knowing that we do make a positive impact on our community. To be able to witness the health changes people make that will impact the rest of their lives is a powerful motivator.
