Enrollment Processes and Procedures
With the many changes to the enrollment process this year we want to THANK ALL VOLUNTEERS for your commitment to our youth! We greatly APPRECIATE your time and service to our program. Remember, you begin in the Ca4Honline system found here: https://ca.4honline.com/ DO NOT create a new profile if your family was in the system in years past. Phone the 4-H Office for assistance if having difficulties (559) 241-7519. Youth members are completed in the 4-H online system. Adults however must continue to the new campus extension for REQUIRED training courses. That site is found here: https://campus.extension.org/ These sites are in no way connected and each require you to create accounts or profiles. You may choose to use the same email and passwords for both. VERY IMPORTANT; you will need to contact the county office for your keycode/passcode. Note that there are 2 options, Re-enrolling volunteers and New volunteers, select carefully. Remember you are not to hold project meetings until all steps are completed including payment of fees to your club. We are here to support all times in all ways! You may reach our Program Representative, Tracy Newton directly at (559) 241-7525
Adult Volunteers –Must be 18 years or older. A volunteer cannot simultaneously be a 4-H member. Chaperones must be at least 21 years of age or older.

Potential new volunteers must submit a 4-H Adult Volunteer Interest Survey. 4-H YDP Volunteers are appointed by the County Director. The decision to appoint or not appoint a volunteer (whether initially or upon renewal) rests with the County Director, in consultation with appropriate 4-H staff. All appointments are made for the best interest of the 4-H Youth Development Program and 4-H members.

4-H The Power of Youth
The 4-H Youth Development Program is an informal educational opportunity where youth learn by doing in project areas like science, health, agriculture, & citizenship. The 4-H community club program offers a wide variety of activities for youth, ages 5 - 19. Join a club, take part in monthly meetings, explore & empower young people with skills to lead for a lifetime.
The skilled adult volunteer leaders are the heart of our program. Projects are taught by adults while Teen & Jr. leaders assist alongside them. Youth members may also participate in a number of County, Area/Multi-County, and Statewide events.
