Welcome to the Shenandoah Valley 4-H Club
The Shenandoah Valley 4-H Club serves the Shenandoah Valley and outlying areas. The monthly club meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in Plymouth.

BIRDS: MARKET/MEAT POULTRY Avian Science project focused on poultry-meat birds raised for meat production. Leader: Shawn Stretars |

BIRDS: POULTRY* Learn about birds and their care and management as a part of Avian Science. Birds may be raised for pets, show, breeding, meat, eggs, or sale. Project may include information about commercial practices in birds. Leader: Shawn Stretars |

CATTLE: BEEF (ages 9 & up) Learn about beef cattle care and management, judging and showing. Leaders: Julie Lyman and Brett Barkell |

GOATS: Learn about dairy goats, their care and management. Members may raise animals for market, milk, or breeding. Opportunities are available for non-owners and owners alike. |

GOATS: Market (ages 9 & up) Learn about meat goats and their care and management. Animals may be raised for meat, show, sale, or breeding. |

GOATS: NIGERIAN* Goat project focused on Nigerian dwarf goats. |

GOATS: PACK Goat project focused on pack goats. |

GOATS: PYGMY* Goat project focused on pygmy goats. |

HOME ARTS* Home Arts covers a wide array of projects where youth can learn arts & crafts, sewing, fiber arts, cooking, cake decorating, food preservation, photography, table settings, and much more in one project. |

QUILTING* Youth partner with adults to design and create quilted items. Project may include quilt design, learning about quilting patterns, piecing, quilting, hand quilting, machine quilting, color coordination and much more. |

SHEEP: MARKET (ages 9 & up) Learn about the care and management of market sheep. Members may raise animals for market or show. |

SWINE: MARKET (ages 9 & up) Learn about the care and management of market swine. Members may raise animals for market or show. |
