Amador County 4-H Management Organization
The purpose of the Amador County 4-H Management Organization is to assist the University of California Cooperative Extension in planning, promoting and carrying out 4-H youth development work, by operating in compliance with UC policies and the Mission, Core Values, and Framework of the 4-H YDP.
The Volunteer Management Board members are included in the decision-making for program operations and raises funds to support 4-H at the county level.
The Program Board is responsible for program development in specific areas.
Furthermore the Management Board develops mechanisms to recommend solutions to problems and disputes within the county 4-H YDP and facilitates mechanisms for providing training and support of adult volunteers and youth.

The management side of our county structure develops and monitors financial resources; works to increase our visibility in the community; handles recognition of youth, volunteers and supporters; and measures and shares our program’s impact.
