Clear Lake State Park offers a great camping and educational experience all in one. The Visitor Center yields a wealth of cultural and natural history and is home to the Clear Lake State Park Interpretive Association. Visit their page here.

Anderson Marsh State Historic Park offers hiking and kayaking trails in remaining tule marsh, grassland, and oak woodland habitats. Hikes and other events are often lead by the Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association. Visit their page here
