Indian Valley Organic Farm & Garden

IVC plant sale

Curious about the abundant lush farm located at the Indian Valley College of Marin campus?

In 2006, three community partners, UC Cooperative Extension-Marin Master Gardeners, the Conservation Corps North Bay and the College of Marin embarked on a landmark project to establish the Indian Valley Organic Farm & Garden (IVOF&G) - a 5.8 acre educational organic farm located at College of Marin’s Indian Valley Campus in Novato.

The farm showcases innovative sustainable agricultural and living practices, growing over 100 varieties of vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs.  The IVO F&G focuses on production of food crops, nursery operations, native plant propagation, ecological restoration and education.

Master Gardeners’ mission is to extend research-based knowledge and information on home horticulture, pest management, and sustainable landscape practices to the residents of Marin.  We do this at the farm by providing education on sustainable agriculture and horticulture practices, and teaching about the health and environmental benefits of local, sustainably-produced food.
