           View apple and olive oil orchards en route to lunch (stop tentative)

12:15  Lunch at World Famous Hamburger Ranch & Bar-B-Que, Cloverdale - Lunch sponsored by the California Pear Advisory Board

2:00    2013 NC140 Pear Systems Trial, Hopland (Mendocino County)

3:15    2005 NC140 Bartlett and Bosc Trials, Talmage (Ukiah Valley)

5:00    Dinner at Cache Creek Vineyards & Winery, Clearlake Oaks (Lake County) - Wine for dinner sponsored by the California Cherry Commission

7:00    Depart for Hallmark Inn Davis (arrive about 9:00)


Thursday, November 5

Optional Field Tour to northern Central Valley - requires separate registration

(Detailed agenda in packet)

7:30  Depart for tour of San Joaquin County and Sacramento/San Joaquin Delta for apples, olives, pears, cherries, walnuts, and then to Sierra Gold Nurseries in Yuba City (Lower Sacramento Valley) to view micropropagation facilities and outdoor growing grounds. Van transportation and lunch are provided.

4:30-5:00  Depart Sierra Gold for Sacramento Int'l Airport (SMF) drop-off for those with late evening Thursday flights. Otherwise, return to Hallmark Inn.
