Welcome to Davis

Davis is lively, walkable, safe, full of interesting restaurants, art galleries, and retail shops. Home to the legendary Davis Farmers Market, the Robert Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, and the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame. Davis is the most bicycle-friendly small city in America, with more than 100 miles of paved bike paths through exquisite neighborhood greenbelts and out into the scenic countryside.With excellent hotels, Davis is the logical base for heading out to prize-winning wineries, olive oil orchards, and leading organic farms. Head to neighboring historic Woodland and Winters, both with significant attractions of their own, or go exploring throughout Yolo County.

San Francisco is known for its cool summers, fog, steep rolling hills, eclectic mix of architecture, and landmarks including the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, the former Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, and its Chinatown district. Distance from Davis: 73.6 Miles.



Sacramento is the state capital and only 15.3 miles from Davis. Some attractions include the California State Capitol building, Sutter's Fort, The Railroad Museum, Old Sacramento, and the Sacramento Zoo.




California Redwoods is Located in northern Humboldt and throughout the coast of neighboring Del Norte County. Nearly half of the remaining old growth redwoods are in this park system, including giants five stories taller than the Statue of Liberty. They can live to be 2,000 years old and grow to more than 375 feet tall.
