READY TO SUCCEED

Ready to Succeed was offered through the University of California Cooperative Extension in Placer County, California. Since its inception in 2001, thousands of parents, providers, professionals, and others in the community have benefited from the workshops and research-based information provided through our outreach methods.

The program was supported locally in its informational brochures, website, newsletter for child care professionals, and online parent newsletter by First 5 Placer County Children and Families Commission.

With the Ready to Succeed program, it was our goal that everyone involved with the development of children birth to five years old will value and embrace their role in fostering early literacy and school readiness. We strive for all children to begin school eager and excited to learn.

Due to budge cuts, this program is no longer funded.
