Fashion Revue

 Our goals for this event are to: 

  • Provide educational activities for youth who are learning and growing in citizenship, leadership and life skills
  • Inspire appreciation of clothing, textiles, consumer science, and personal development
  • Introduce opportunities to extend youth leadership and communication
  • Promote self-esteem through individual expression

Date:  April 12, 2014
 
Location: Robert J. Cabral Ag Center, 2101 E. Earhart Ave., Stockton, CA 95206-3949.

Deadline:
Project Leaders have until  Friday, April 4, 2014 to enter the members' information.

 

This year's theme:  "Project Runway" 

 

Schedule:

8:30 am.....Check-in for San Joaquin County participants
 

9:00 am.....First Judging Session.  Other Judging Sessions, as needed will follow.  Fun activities will be provided for members and families to do while they are waiting to be judged.

 

1:30 pm......Fashion Show and Awards

The Fashion Show is an integral component of Fashion Revue. San Joaquin and out-of-county participants must model in the Fashion Show or awards will be forfeited.

 

Who is Eligible?  Any 4-H member age 5-19.

How to Register

Project or Club Leaders are required to complete an online club registration form.

Fashion Revue - Individual Registration Form: Download and pass out at club or project meetings.

Project or Club Leader's must collect all individual registration forms and enter their information online by the deadline: Fashion Revue - Club Registration Online Form.  Once entered, then the Project Leader is required to deliver all forms and receipts to the 4-H Office by Friday, April 4, 2014.


State Fashion Revue Service Projects:

Items made can be donated locally in your county with a count sent to SFR so we can record what was made.  Or you can bring the items to SFR on May 31 and the SFR committee will donate them with credit given to your county.

Judges Requirements

Entries are judged by senior members (9th-12th grade), leaders and parents. Due to low judge turn out, each club is required to send the following:

Note: Each club is responsible for finding their own replacement judges in case of a cancellation.
