Goal 6 statement:
Improve our ability to recruit and retain the academics and staff needed to achieve all aspects of the UC ANR mission starting in 2017 and ongoing.
Fall 2017 update
In October 2017, VP Humiston approved a four-year Compensation Strategy for CE Advisors to ensure salaries of current and future CE advisors are better aligned with the labor market for comparable academic positions.
In February 2017, VP Humiston approved a four-year Market-based Adjustment Plan for non-represented staff to ensure salaries of existing staff are better aligned with the labor market. ANR employees who significantly lagged the internal and external labor markets according to the Career Tracks salary ranges received salary increases in February to move toward a more competitive pay goal.
