Call for positions closes May 18

The online system for submitting proposals for ANR’s supplemental call for CE advisor and specialist positions will close on May 18 at 11:59 p.m. Please talk with your colleagues and encourage external stakeholders to help us identify the Division’s greatest needs. The call is posted on a publicly accessible site: http://ucanr.org/callforpositions.

This year, the website has been refined and expanded to encourage internal consultation and external input from ANR stakeholders in all program areas. We expect and strongly encourage you to engage with external stakeholders – including commodity groups, cooperating programs, agency partners, community groups and others – to explicitly discuss priority needs for positions.

The website for this year’s call for Supplemental Positions is open to both ANR and the public. The online system provides the ability to view, sort and search newly and previously submitted positions. The system also identifies the submitter and provides the opportunity to comment. To view or comment on a submitted position, click on the name of the position.

ANR employees and clientele can view and comment on proposed positions and read comments posted by others.

We encourage you and ANR program teams, workgroups, county directors and department chairs to discuss needed positions with your clientele and to invite them to view position proposals and provide their comments. Clientele input will be provided to Program Council to inform their recommendations.
