No-Fail Native Plants, 10am
Cindy Weiner, UC Master Gardener of Butte County
Tour the Demonstration Garden and learn about some of our most resilient and sustainable plants.  These natives are adaptable to a variety of situations, use little water once established, and provide food and shelter for wildlife.

Raised Garden/Vegetable Beds, 10:30am
Keith Stilson, UC Master Gardener of Butte County
Raised beds are designed for less bending and stooping over with lower maintenance for weeds, watering, pests, and replanting.  You can have more control over your soil mixture and easily change the soil texture, fertility, and filth of your beds, plus reduce pests, with the ability to add gopher wiring and copper barriers around edges. Discover the wide variety of materials and approaches to making raised beds for your garden.

Get the printable flyer.

Proceeds from the plant sale will support the Master Gardener Demonstration Gardens and Public Education Programs.
