Seafood Network Information Center - Research-based information on Seafood Quality Control developed by Dr. Robert Price and Pamela Tom of California Sea Grant Extension Program of UCANR. It is now hosted by the Oregon State University Seafood Research & Education Center in Astoria, OR.

San Diego Seafood & Fisheries has information on San Diego seafood species, buying locally caught seafood, the developing direct marketing movement, and more. It is a project of California Sea Grant Extension Program.

Discover California Commercial Fisheries provides information on California's fishing communities, types of commercial fisheries in California, and seasons when various California seafood products are harvested. It is a project of California Sea Grant Extension Program.

Faces of California Fishing features California fishing communities and people. It has links for finding fishermen and other sources of specific California seafood products, as well as information on fishing regulations, gear, cleaning & cutting seafood products, recipes, etc. It is a project of the Alliance of Communities for Sustainable fisheries.

Fish Watch provides information on United States seafood products and industry. Information includes seafood profiles, wild and farmed seafood, and tips for buying and eating seafood. It is a project of NOAA (National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, US Dept. of Commerce). 

National Fisheries Institute "About Seafood" - a non-profit organization dedicated to education about seafood safety, sustainability, and nutrition.

Virginia Institute of Marine Science Seafood Education - facilitates research, educational, and outreach activities promoting sustainable management of marine resources.
