Peach Tree Love

Now is the time of year to spray peach trees for leaf curl and shot hole.  Use a copper sulfate solution and be sure to follow the application directions provided by the manufacturer.  The November application should be applied after leaf fall, the next application will be in January before budding.

November is a time to remove "Mummies" (dried up fruit) from your fruit trees to prevent pest who have taken up residence in them from emerging in spring.

After leaf fall, dormant pruning of your trees can begin, with the exception of Apricot trees which become susceptible to bacterial infections if pruned during wet weather.
