The Master Gardeners of San Luis Obispo offers monthly Advice to Grow By (ATGB) workshops. Our workshops deliver UC research-based gardening information in a fun and easy to understand format. Our goal is to educate our community of home gardeners on how to develop and maintain a sustainable and bountiful backyard garden.

Workshops are held on the third Saturday of every month at the Garden of the Seven Sisters, 2156 Sierra Way in San Luis Obispo. Our garden is a demonstration garden that is maintained by a team of dedicated Master Gardener volunteers. It represents a cooperative project between the County of San Luis Obispo and the University of California.

The Garden is wheel-chair accessible and encourages gardening for all levels of ability.
More than 1000 community members have attended ATGB workshops since the opening of our garden in 2010.
