NEVADA COUNTY 4-H CLUBS BRING HOLIDAY CHEER TO ROOD GOVERNMENT CENTER
Members of the Cool Hollow 4-H Club were joined by members of several other Nevada County 4-H clubs to decorate the Christmas tree at the Eric Rood Government Center in Nevada City on November 25, 2017. The Nevada County 4-H Youth Development Program would like to thank the Cone and Hill Christmas Tree Farm for generously donating the tree.
Beginning December 2nd, the Nevada County 4-H Council will be selling See’s Candy at their location in the parking lot on Sutton Way near Brunswick Rd. in Grass Valley from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily through December 23, or while supplies last. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to support the positive youth development efforts of Nevada County 4-H.
4-H offers limitless opportunities for friendship, growth, fun, and development. By engaging youth and adults in meaningful partnerships, 4-H helps young people to reach their full potential as competent, confident, leaders of character who contribute and are connected to their communities. 4-H is an educational program of the University of California Cooperative Extension. The program combines the efforts of youth, volunteer leaders, and University staff and faculty to create a fun, hands-on learning approach to non-formal education.
