Welcome to our ongoing effort to catalog citizen science and other public participation in scientific research (PPSR) projects for UC California Naturalists and other citizen scientists. A vast majority of the information in the database was gathered from project websites and may be out of date. Participant Activities
Earth Team volunteers work side-by-side with conservation professionals. Volunteer may assist with improving wildlife habitat, providing conservation education to adults and students, community outreach and many more interesting opportunities.
Earth Volunteers, partnering with agencies such as Central Sierra Resource Conservation & Development, may have the opportunity to join in citizen water monitoring.

Volunteer Qualifications
Anyone 14 years of age or older and interested in conserving our precious natural resources can be an Earth Team volunteer. You can volunteer part-time or full-time and work outdoors or in a local NRCS office. You can volunteer as an individual or form or join a group.
Youth, retirees, international volunteers and others are encouraged to apply.
