WAS 2014 Annual Conference
September 17-20, 2014
WAS President, Dr. Jerry Bromenshenk, is continuing to finalize the schedule of events for the WAS Conference. Our meeting is interwoven among a number of interesting happenings just before, during, and following our conference. The program includes speaker presentations, Saturday workshops, and many other possibilities. When the program is firmed up, we will put it here. Check periodically for the update. Meanwhile, the May President's message (either at the link in this site or in the WAS Journal for May) contains many items that will be involved with the conference. There might even be a tour to an indoor overwintering building, but that trip is "interest dependent."
Outside the conference venue, there should be varied places to eat within comfortable walking distance, and some (or perhaps most) of the attendees like to have some shopping nearby.
Another consideration is the program. What topics are of interest? Who might be good presenters? What bee-related visitation spot might be good for a tour?
All these questions have to be answered in less than a year. Jerry can't work in a vacuum. Let him know what you think: email@example.com .
