4-H Adult Volunteer Interest Survey

Welcome to the first step in the process to becoming a 4-H adult volunteer. As a 4-H adult volunteer, you will play an important role in the development of young people, helping them to identify their spark and develop the skills and positive outcomes that lead to thriving.

The University of California Cooperative Extension 4-H staff would like to find out a little bit more about you to help identify opportunities in the program that align with your interest(s), skills and background. Please complete the brief questionnaire below. Once you complete the interest survey, information for completing the remaining steps in the application process will be emailed to you. Bienvenidos al primer paso del proceso para llegar a ser un adulto voluntario en 4-H. 4-H adult volunteers are required to complete the application process that may include an in-person interview as well as required online training courses, and a fingerprint background check with the California Department of Justice (DOJ) (even if they have been fingerprinted by another organization as the DOJ does not allow sharing of results between organizations). Please note: There are some offenses that automatically bar an individual from consideration as a 4-H adult volunteer - see http://4h.ucanr.edu/files/207151.pdf). I agree to complete all the requirements to become a 4-H adult volunteer, and attend any other trainings as required by the state or county).
