UCCE OC MG CGS Fruit Trees - Winter Pruning Basics

UCCE Orange County Master Gardeners present: Winter Pruning Fundamentals for Fruit Trees

On November 4, 2017 Master Gardeners will offer a class on best practices for pruning fruit trees. Participants will leave with an understanding of best cuts plant health, eye appeal, and structural integrity. This workshop includes a hands pruning experience and tool care demonstration. Participants should bring one pruning tool to learn proper tool cleaning and sharpening techniques. 

OPTIONAL: Tool Sharpening/Cleaning Kits will be available for $30.00 purchase day of class (checks payable to: UC Regents or cash only) This kit will include all necessary items for proper tool cleaning and sharpening.

Each class is limited to the first 24 registrants. Register and pay on line by November 3, 2017. Please bring a printed or digital copy of your confirmation proof of payment email to class. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. 

Check in at 8:00 AM: Class and workshop will take approximately 3 hours.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds one week prior to workshop.
