UCCE OC MG CGS Fruit Tree - Winter Pruning Basics

The UC ANR South Coast Research and Extension Center UCCE Master Gardeners present:

Winter Pruning Fundamentals for Fruit Trees

Date: November 4, 2017

Check-In: 8:30 am

Time: 9 am - 12 pm

This workshop will review best practices for pruning fruit trees and include a field walk through and tool care demonstration. Participants will leave with an understanding of best cuts for plant health, eye appeal, and  structural integrity. 

Participants should bring one hand held pruning tool to learn proper  tool cleaning and sharpening techniques. (Optional tool sharpening/cleaning kits are available for $30.00 payable at class. The kit       includes all the necessary items for proper cleaning and sharpening of your tools.)

Please wear closed-toe shoes.

Each class is limited to the first 24 registrants. Register and pay on line by November 3, 2017. Please bring a printed or digital copy of your confirmation proof of payment email to class. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. 

Check in at 8:30 AM: Class and workshop will take approximately 3 hours.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds one week prior to workshop.
