Learn from UC Master Gardener Carole King how you can help protect the diversity of the vegetables we eat and develop plants that thrive in your garden. Carole will discuss the anatomy of seeds, how they are pollinated (and how to prevent cross pollination), and how to harvest, clean and store seeds to insure their viability. She will also demonstrate how to check a seed’s viability and how to break its dormancy. This FREE class is offered by UC Master Gardeners of Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties.
