It’s Alive! Rich garden soil is full of living organisms, some that are visible and others too tiny to see. These critters help provide and manage nutrients for our plants. Learn about the structure of soil and methods for increasing the productivity of your garden by improving the conditions for your living soil at the Public Education class, “Understanding and improving Garden Soil” provided by the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County from 9am-Noon on September 28, 2017. The class is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required. Handouts will be available. Classes are held in the GSA building at 12200-B Airport Rd in Jackson.
