Have you ever started digging in your garden to plant something and wished you had better soil? Your garden will be healthier and more productive if you work on building great soil. Come to the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County free Public Education class on October 20, 2018 for some helpful ideas. The nature of the soil in our county, along with ways to improve it will be discussed. Learn about the life in your soil, the value of cover crops, home composting and vermiculture. Enjoy growing in healthy soil. Healthy soil=healthy plants. Handouts will be available. Classes are held in the GSA Building at 12200-B Airport Rd. in Jackson from 9 am to Noon.
