Dani Lee is a registered dietitian and public health nutritionist working to increase access to healthy and sustainable food. Her work at the UC ANR Nutrition Policy Institute focuses on food waste, early childhood feeding, and federally funded food programs including the Special Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

Dani has over seven years experience creating and managing sustainable foodservice projects at UC Davis and institutional food policies for the University of California. These projects include farm-to-institution, local and sustainable food procurement, waste reduction and recycling, composting, zero-waste events and foodservice operations, food safety, food waste reduction and recovery, food literacy, nutrition education, energy and water efficiency, garden-based education and urban gardening.
